James is a CO base VA.
From a young age, James dreamed of becoming a chef, inspired by his love of food. However, as he grew older, his interests expanded. By middle school, he had developed a passion for web design, video editing, and digital graphics. In high school, he contributed to a teacher recruitment CD for local schools, where he began to hone his video editing skills further. During this time, he discovered that he could overlay voice recordings onto video using editing software. What began as a solo creative experiment soon turned into a collaborative effort with friends.
James eventually became involved in online creative communities, including the now-retired Voice Acting Alliance, where he served as a moderator. Today, he’s part of the moderation team for the Voice Acting Club (both on the forums and Discord), a thriving global community with over 40,000 members.
A passionate fan of anime and video games, James hopes to lend his voice to more projects in those genres. His natural voice sits in the mid-range, but he’s known for his wide vocal versatility—able to shift between high, low, and even convincingly female tones. This flexibility is often cited as one of his strengths in voice acting.
While much of his work has been in amateur online productions, James has recently had the opportunity to contribute to several indie projects—and he’s always dreaming bigger.
